Vista Tower by Magellan Development and Wanda Group

Brooke Bressler

Vista Tower, previously known as 375 E. Wacker, is Magellan Development and Wanda Group’s tallest project in Chicago. It is currently being built in the New East Side neighborhood of Chicago, just south of the Chicago River and north of Millennium Park. It will be the third largest skyscraper in Chicago just after the Willis Tower and Trump International Hotel and Tower. It will surpass the nearby Aon Center.  It will stand at 1,191 feet, which is 363 meters tall.

Designed by the same architect of the famous Aqua building, Jeanne Gang, Vista Tower will be one of the two tallest buildings designed by a woman. The original estimated cost of the project was a whopping $900 million. Designed by Studio Gang Architects, this magnificent building will hold mixed use space of 406 condominium residences, as well as a five-star hotel called the Wanda Vista Hotel.

This is a tri-tower building with three connected towers. The shortest tower will be 47 stories high. The middle tower will be 71 stories high, and the tallest tower will be 93 stories high with 101 floors. There will be a ton of green space including a lush rooftop garden. A hospitality design firm called Hirsch Bedner Associates are designing the interiors of the luxurious condominiums.  The interiors of the residences will use amethyst, topaz, sapphire, and fluorite to emit exquisite finishes. The ceilings will boast over 9 feet high with floor to ceiling windows. The sky 360 penthouses offer a dramatic panoramic view of all of Chicago. These views will offer some of the best in Chicago, looking north, south, east, and west, unobstructed.

This beautiful building is expected to be completed in 2020. This architectural design will further transform the Chicago Skyline.

Inquire with Smash Properties today to be one of the first to see these condominiums.
